This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. Topics include:
Option 1 – 9 hours (1 day) classroom training and assessment with online module questions
Option 2 – 6 hours classroom training and assessment with online lectures and module questions

Progressive assessment throughout the course, including demonstration of practical skills and written and oral questions relating to underpinning knowledge. Students must be able to demonstrate CPR on a manikin placed on the ground to be competent in this course.
