About the Provide an Emergency Care Response in an Education and Care Setting course

The Absolute Medical Response “Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting” (HLTAID012) course applies to educators and support staff working in education or children’s services who are required to respond to a first aid emergency. It incorporates the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Absolute Medical Response have a highly credentialed and qualified team of Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Intensive Care Paramedics who provide an interactive and practical understanding of the requirements of a Patient Transport Officer.

Course duration

After enrolling, you will receive access to our online student portal for the online video lecture and pre-course work, completed before the face-to-face over 6 hours, which includes a practical session. The pre course work includes our first aid emergency manual, training and assessment, HLTAID012 Statement of Attainment incorporating CPR, first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis accreditation, Practice face mask and your student activity workbook to complete on the training day.
